Advarra Accelerates IRB Workflows with New Upgrades to the Center for IRB Intelligence (CIRBI) Platform

This week, Advarra will release an update to the Center for IRB Intelligence (CIRBI®) Platform, continuing our focus of accelerating user workflows while ensuring the highest quality IRB reviews available.

The release includes a wide range of enhancements, including customer-requested features to improve the user experience throughout the review process. A key focus of the release is improving the submission process for expanded access studies. These studies are becoming more prevalent in the current COVID-19 environment, and new enhancements streamline the submission process to make it easier for physicians and other key stakeholders to work with Advarra IRB. Also, new features related to humanitarian use devices (HUD) create similar efficiencies for users, significantly streamlining workflows to help accelerate IRB approvals.

These new features strengthen CIRBI as the most comprehensive electronic IRB platform to centralize and simplify IRB management. The 21 CFR Part 11-compliant system enables real-time communication among sponsors/CROs, research sites, study staff, and IRB members, providing greater transparency, accessibility, and quality oversight for clinical research programs.

CIRBI users will see these exciting new enhancements after the upgrade process scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2020. Advarra’s CIRBI Platform help desk is available to assist as needed:
