Marco Capasso, JD

Marco Capasso is General Counsel and Secretary to the Board. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the company’s legal, risk management, and corporate governance matters. He provides counsel on a wide range of matters including commercial contracting, dispute resolution, European and FDA regulations, compliance, data privacy, and enterprise risk management.

Capasso has more than 25 years of legal and clinical research experience, serving in leadership positions at both publicly traded and privately held life sciences companies and as a clinical researcher at several renowned institutions. Prior to joining Advarra, Capasso was General Counsel at WCG Clinical. Previously, he held multiple senior-level legal positions with industry-leading corporations including Parexel and Lilly, among others.

Capasso earned his BA from Columbia University and JD from Rutgers School of Law.
